ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES
We will be happy to welcome you from 3 pm on the day of arrival; please vacate the apartment before 11 am on the day of departure. By taking possession of the apartment, you are deemed to have fully and unconditionally accepted the provisions of this agreement.
All rent is payable in advance. If the rental lasts for longer than one month, payment is made by monthly installments. Any late payment of rent may result in immediate termination of the agreement, and all amounts owing hereunder becoming immediately payable. In the event of late arrival of the Guest, the rental is due with effect from the arrival date set out in the agreement.
Prices are stated in euros, inclusive of taxes and fees (water, electricity, gas, rental risks insurance), exclusive of visitors’ tax and optional services. They include the provision of a furnished apartment and the provision and replacement of linen depending on the selected tariff.
This agreement is drawn up under one of the exclusions set out in article 2 of French Act No. 89-462 dated July 6, 1989 (furnished rentals) and is not subject to the provisions of the said Act nor those of Act No. 48-1360 dated September 1, 1948.
All reservations must be guaranteed with a bank card valid for the entire duration of your stay. The bank card used for reservation must be shown on arrival. The name on the identity document shown on arrival must be identical to that on the bank card.
GUESTS’ OBLIGATIONS / DAMAGE
Privilodges shall be entitled to claim from the Guest the full value of the replacement price of any objects, furniture or equipment that are broken, cracked, chipped or damaged, and the price of cleaning bedspreads, sofa covers and cushions, and compensation for damage to curtains, paintwork, plasterwork, wallpaper, ceilings, rugs, carpets, wooden flooring, windows, bedding, and so forth. Any repairs that become necessary due to negligence or lack of care during the rental will be payable by the Guest. In the event that Guests fail to comply with any of their obligations hereunder or behave contrary to the provisions of this agreement, Privilodges may terminate the rental agreement as a matter of right, without any formalities and without notice.
- Stay of one to nine nights: cancellation free of charge until 2PM on the day of arrival; thereafter, the first night is due.
- Stay of more than nine nights: cancellation free of charge until seven days before arrival; thereafter, cancellation fee corresponding to 35% of the amount of the reservation.
In the event of a “no show”, the same conditions apply. For special offers and/or internet reservations, different cancellation conditions may apply.
Privilodges reserves the right to enter the apartments to perform upkeep, for safety reasons or to inspect the premises.
MODIFICATION OF STAY
Any modification to a stay in progress must be made in writing, with the date of receipt being considered as the notification date. There is no implicit right to renewal of the agreement. Any request by Guests to extend their stay, if accepted (subject to availability), will be subject to a new agreement, with no prior guarantee that the price and the apartment will remain unchanged. In the event of early departure, the tariff corresponding to the actual duration of the stay will be applied retrospectively. If we receive notification less than seven days before the original departure date, a fee of 35% of the amount of the canceled nights will apply.
GUESTS’ OBLIGATIONS / CLEANING
Privilodges makes available to each Guest an apartment that is in perfect working order and perfectly clean. The Guests shall behave reasonably and respectfully in the apartment, with cleanliness in mind. Failing this, cleaning costs of €30/hour will be invoiced. Any complaints relating to the operation, cleanliness or condition of equipment and furniture will only be deemed valid if made within 24 hours of taking possession of the apartment. An inventory is available to Guests on request, from reception.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the premises. Any Guest who fails to comply with this restriction shall be deemed to accept as of right an additional fee of €200 to cover the costs of cleaning (in particular of smoke-impregnated surfaces, curtains, and so on) and air purification, so as to ensure that the next customer does not suffer tobacco pollution.
A bank card* number must be provided by the Guest. The costs resulting from any damage to the apartment rented, the furniture or fittings, and any costs of cleaning and additional services, will be debited from the card. * Privilodges accepts Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard, MasterCard and American Express cards.
As a lessor of furnished apartments, Privilodges is not responsible for property belonging to Guests, whether in the apartments, car parks or common areas. The insurance contracted by Privilodges solely covers lessees’ risks.
